Heidelkor was established in 1984 by Johan Louw with the supply and installation of irrigation equipment and pumps, for industrial, farming and the private home owner market.

During 1985 the fabrication of uPVC fittings was started, concentrating mainly on the sewer market.

During 1991 Heidelkor decided to close the whole irrigation and pumps section, and concentrate on uPVC fittings.


Heidelkor was converted to a (Pty) Ltd company in 1997 and then started producing uPVC pressure fittings with seal ring connections, as well as H.D.P.E Manholes.  Injection moulded PVC fittings for sewage are not available in South Africa in diameter 160 and above, therefore Heidelkor fabricates fittings for drainage systems that are available up to 500 diameter including a comprehensive range of fittings together with adaptors for connection to other pipe systems.

Heidelkor use only SABS approved pipe in the fabrication of fittings.  Strong quality control is adhered to throughout the manufacturing process.

Fittings are manufactured to the highest possible standard and in accordance with the British specifications, codes and dimensions of Hepworth of Sheffield, England, which is the oldest existing manufacturer of PVC pipe and fittings in the world.

Heidelkor has been in the business for over 25 years and all of the big civil construction companies are our clients, including clients that export to other African countries, the Seychelles and Mauritius.

Over the years Heidelkor has become renowned for its expertise in supplying specials for the PVC pipe market.
