Our Story

Heidelkor was established in 1984 by Johan Louw, focusing on the supply and installation of irrigation equipment and pumps for the industrial, agricultural, and residential markets.

In 1985, the company began fabricating uPVC fittings, primarily targeting the sewer market.

In 1991, Heidelkor shifted its focus entirely, closing the irrigation and pumps division to concentrate on uPVC fittings.

In 1997, Heidelkor transitioned to a (Pty) Ltd company and began producing uPVC pressure fittings with seal ring connections, as well as HDPE manholes. Notably, injection-molded PVC fittings for sewage in diameters of 160 mm and above are not available in South Africa, which led Heidelkor to fabricate fittings for drainage systems up to 500 mm in diameter, along with a comprehensive range of fittings and adaptors for connecting to various pipe systems.

Heidelkor exclusively uses SABS-approved pipe in the fabrication of it's fittings, maintaining strict quality control throughout the manufacturing process.

All fittings are produced to the highest standards, adhering to the British specifications, codes, and dimensions of Hepworth of Sheffield, England, the world’s oldest manufacturer of PVC pipe and fittings.
With over 40 years in the industry, Heidelkor services major civil construction companies, including those that export to other African countries, the Seychelles, and Mauritius.

The management and staff of Heidelkor take pride in their achievements, providing excellent service and quality products at competitive prices to their clients.

Over the years, Heidelkor has gained a reputation for its expertise in supplying custom solutions for the PVC pipe market - If it can be made, we will make it.
